I was initially introduced to the “Untangler Comb” many years ago by a fellow Cavalier breeder as the “most effective grooming tool for detangling Cavalier ears”. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel ears seem to be a natural magnet for tangles and mats – always collecting food and other items that their long ears come into contact with.
The Untangler Comb is now part of my regular regimen for regular or show grooming. I comb out my Cavaliers’ coat using the Untangler Comb to remove any mats or tangles prior to any bath or blow drying. It easily removes mats and tangles without causing the dog any discomfort, which is of the utmost importance to me!

I’ve been using the untangler combs for my poodle for many many many years. Love it. I’ve told some of my vet stores about you and was hoping they’d start carrying them. I tell everyone I know who’s got a dog with hair that they should get one.

Never knew I could like a grooming tool so much!!
A comb is a comb, as long as it gets down to the skin and through the hair, right?! The Untangler makes combing your dog so much easier on both of you. Yes, there are other combs on the market with rotating teeth, like this one has, but…what I found so great is the fatter spine – something to really hang onto without your hand cramping! While the teeth fully rotate, they roll out and glide through tangles – not just stop or pull on the dog’s hair and skin. Great at removing loose, dead hair.

this dog comb works great especially for longer haired dogs. I have a wirehaired dog that can get matted hair of mini dreads or knots and this comb really wiggles out the mats easier than any other brush or comb I’ve used.

These are the best combs. I have a couple very well used from years ago. Purchasing a trio of new ones for grooming my giant schnauzer and his giant beard. I actually use it on his entire body. Best ever and made in USA!

The 7inch untangler comb is exceptionally effective for untangling mats on my border collie. when i approach my dog smokey with the comb he no longer runs. i am truly impressed. I also recommend the 31 finger hand brush. excellent daily brush. cheers

The best Comb i ever used. It really does wiggle through matted hair. I am amazed. My Cocker, Lacey, actually stopped pulling away. I must have caused a lot of pain when grooming without knowing it. I’m on line now buying the brush. Thankyou Untangler!

Hello from Sussex, UK. I go out of my way to order Untangler combs for my 3 Schnauzers, Tommy, Rosie and Buster as well as for Tilly my cat. Tilly runs the show and when she liked the feel of Untangler, she wouldn’t let me use anything else. Found these combs at Petcetera in the UK so I buy in the UK now, but just wanted Untangler fans to know what works. The teeth are magic in clearing mats. they move up and down and rotate and clear the mat like magic. Just gotta have it. Cheerio
